Rajagopuram of Sri Mogileeswara Swamy Temple

Sevas & Darshanam

Every seva performed to Sri Mogileeswara Swamy Vaaru, and how devotees can take part.

Darshanam

Free sarva darshanam through the day. Special paid darshanam tickets are available at the temple ticket counters.

Sarva darshanam is open to every devotee without any fee. On busy days — Mondays, Sravana Somavaram, Karthika Masam and Maha Shivaratri — a separate queue line is arranged, and special darshanam tickets are issued at the counters near the temple entrance.

Abhishekam

Rudrabhishekam and Ksheerabhishekam performed to Swamy Vaaru every morning. Tickets are issued at the temple counters.

A different abhishekam is performed to the swayambhu lingam each morning — with panchamrutham, milk, honey, tender coconut water, sandal paste and bilva leaves — accompanied by Rudram parayanam. Devotees who wish to be present must buy the ticket at the counter before the seva time.

Annadanam

Devotees may sponsor the daily nithya annadanam served to all pilgrims after mid-day pooja. Enquire at the temple office.

Prasadam and a full meal are served to every pilgrim after the mid-day mahanivedana. Families sponsor a day of annadanam in the name of their elders, or to mark a birthday, wedding anniversary or vratam. Sponsorship is arranged in person at the temple office.

Kalyanotsavam

Swamy Ammavari Kalyanam performed on behalf of families on auspicious days. Bookings are taken at the temple office.

The celestial wedding of Swamy and Ammavaru is performed on behalf of a sponsoring family on auspicious days. The family receives the kalyana prasadam, akshantalu and vastram after the seva. Dates are fixed at the temple office according to the panchangam.

No online booking. All darshanam and abhishekam tickets are purchased in person at the temple ticket counters.
